A 100 yen pencil, 100 yen eraser, and a 100 sketchbook, combined with the stunningly shitty iPhone camera (by Japan’s mobile phone camera standards, anyway) = 100 Yen comics.
Someday in the not too distant future I will learn to use my Wacom pen & tablet and Comic Studio competently enough to publish decent quality comics.
Until then, though, I’ll be cutting my teeth with my 100 yen scribbles.
