While doing a little house cleaning and tiding up, I came across an old copy of Switch magazine from December 2006 I had lying around with a feature on Takehiko Inoue and Vagabond. While the interview portion of the feature is a little dated now, art by a master doesn’t age the same way and is always worth looking at again.

The Vagabond art included in the feature is nothing fans haven't seen before, either in the comic or in the art books SUMI and WATER. However, Inoue also showed some pages from a sketchbook he took out into the forest for the Switch photo shoot. This is art you can't see anywhere so I thought I'd share some of it with my shitty iPhone camera before I put the magazine away again.

Enjoy!
