And so little time to do it in.
The problem with having a lot of hobbies is that there is never enough time to get things done after work and family. Family always comes first, but damn I wish I didn't have to work. Yes, I know, I can join the club, but that would just take up even more time I don't have. I bet there'd some sort of cost involved in a club, too, which would mean that if there were enough members, some asshole would actually no longer have to work. Life has enough of sick ironies as it is and I don't want to contribute to another.
In any case, the odd hair-trigger rant not withstanding, I know I'm moving only slightly quicker than an unusually apathetic three-toed sloth, but I am plugging away at the final part of the Urasawa interview translation. I promise to get it ready to post if not on-time, then within a reasonable time after I said I would.
Once that's done, and assuming Urasawa doesn't come out with another major interview in the next month or so, I plan to move on to talking about Hayao Miyazaki's Kaze Tachinu, and providing historical background for 20th Century Boys and Billy Bat (some of which is close to ready right now).
I tweet, I scribble the odd 100 Yen Comic, and I seem to be doing very little about unfinished Urasawa, but rest assured I am working on that and other comic related things.
Please stay tuned!
