Holy crap, I can't believe it's April!

I had intended to have a few things done and posted here by now. However when things get busy and time runs short, blogging is usually the first to get the axe. As a result I have a bunch of posts in the can waiting for me to finish them. One of them is a about the Hayao Miyazaki comic I mentioned a month ago. I sat on it for so long that part 2 came out.

So, partly to give myself a little kick in the butt to hurry it up, and partly because I like this illustration, here's a panel from part 2, which I bought this past Monday.

I took this pic today before I realized that the iPhone's camera sucks for close up shots. I didn’t expect it to be up to Japanese mobile phone standards, but they could have at least tossed a manual focus option in there!

Anyway, part 3 of the comic comes out at the end of this month.
Sort far it's sort of a cross between a military aviation history lesson and Porco Rosso (i.e. pigs in planes).
I promised to get a write up with proper pics well before part three comes out, along with all the other stuff I have in my drafts folder.

Until then...

What about the story in this part?
Does it have the fairy tale frangnance (as other works of Miyazaki's work have) ? :)
