From Japan Today:
Guilty or not guilty? Lingerie maker Triumph’s campaign girl Hiromi Nishiuchi, 19, wears the “Jury System Bra” which was created for the company’s 2009 spring/summer collection held at Tokyo Ryutsu Center. Triumph International Japan, which annually creates a unique bra to reflect a current social issue, expects the Jury System Bra to raise public awareness of the lay juror system, which will start in Japan from May 21, 2009.
Will we be considered pigs if we try and tip the scales of justice, too?
But seriously, the only awareness this raises is how Japanese society still publically views women.
Guilty or not guilty, they ask?
Well, if we're charging the people behind this travesty with stupidity, misogyny, and just plain tackiness, then the defendants are found guilty on all charges by reason of chronic, incurable immaturity.
If it were up to me they'd also be sentenced to death by impalement through the groin on Lady Justice's sword.
Seriously, every time there is a major event in Japan someone comes out with a gag product that juvenile men can insult the women in their lives with.
However, women here also insult themselves by creating, promoting and buying things called F*ing BIZWALKers, so let's not put all the blame on the men.
This latest gimmick has to be a late entry for the Dumb-ass Product of the Year award.

Oh, well.
At least they got a model that does it, uh... justice
