Clearing the Cache is what I'm going to start calling posts in which I unload the many bits & pieces I've collected from the internet but haven't used in other posts. They seem to collect like lint in favorites lists, folders, notes, and other places all over my computer and I need to Swiffer them out once in a while.
So, without further ado or attempts to be witty, here goes the first load;
⇒ The Beat has a cool post about President-Elect Obama and those that preceded him ![]()
⇒ ICV2.com reports that Obama not only won the election, but his biographical comic out sold McCain's, making it a total victory!

⇒ Takeshi Miyazawa has a sketch Nightcrawler up in his latest post that is definitely not lame-o. I'm looking forward to his latest work on Secret Invasion: Runaways/Young Avengers. Unfortunately, I can't get it in Japan.
Wink wink, nudge nudge, Mom. I need that series, pleeease!
But I still want Mouse Guard first (sorry, Tak!)
⇒ Here's an article I found at the Journalista for everyone who still thinks Japanese do nothing but work when they aren't reading comics.
⇒ Via the MangaBlog came an interesting article by Publisher's Weekly about designer extraordinaire Chip Kidd's book about the secret history of Batman in Japan.

⇒ Last, but far from least, is a link to a review volume 11 of Inubaka by the Manga Maniac Cafe. I write the English adaptation of Inubaka and enjoy reading all the Inubaka reviews by the Manga Maniac Cafe, which has faithfully reviewed every single issue.

And, that just about clears the cache of everything suitable for mixed company ![]()
