The Eastern Edge

Well, my blog problem has been fixed... sort of.

Although problems appear to be fixed on this blog, I did another little test with a new install, with a new database, in a new directory. It came out a mess with the same errors this blog had but worse - some admin pages won't show up at all.

In other words, my problem has gone from an "Unexpected error" to a "Warning" and has now become an "Underlying issue."

Actually, I think this might be the "Stealth problem" I wondered about two posts ago.
There is a problem, you just can't see it right now. It lurks in the background waiting for the perfect time to nail you.
I managed to smoke it out when I created the test blog, though.

In the meantime I am reading a bunch of books that I expect to provide all kinds of info for the Gottsupedia. I expect to have a lot of new stuff, and updates to current entries, in the near future. Also, with Trit contributing to help clean up my horrible spelling, sloppy typing problems, as well as figure out how I can use footnotes, I'll be all set (I can't use the current wiki system because I'm running old MediaWiki software. Unfortunately my server side software, which I have no control over, is a little behind - I hope that will change in the not too distant future)).

I expect Gottsupedia to really start to be a useful source very soon.
