I never intended to make this a Japan current affair blog, I am too lazy a blogger, and not interested enough in mainstream media and what other people think about it, to bother to do that.
However, since I wrote a little about Horie, I felt it only fair to say a word or two about Horie's friend and fellow fallen (relatively) young businessman "hero " Murakami.
Here is another little piece of crap touting "share holder rights", all the while doing nothing but trying to milk as much profit as possible by absolutely any means necessary and come out looking a brilliant praise-worthy, media-darling business man in the process - instead of the fly-by-night chicken shit crook that you are.
Just like Horie, Murakami was supposed to represent the "New Japan" generation; a younger, leaner (well, not in Horie's tubby case), much meaner, modern business machine.
But really, it's all about short-term profits. Money now, and lots of it. Too much is never ever enough and it doesn't matter who you step on. The medium to long-term outlook, the future of the company and its employees mean absolutely nothing. Your personal net worth and status rules all. When things look bad you sell anyway and wash your hands of if - other people be damned. Those slobs aren't as smart as you as deserve what they get, right? And you can always hire more cause there are always poor saps with families that need a job.
Anyway, it seems that Murakami, who is apparently friends with Horie, thought he could take a dip in the devil's hot tub and not get burned like his buddy did.
Without dragging this out, I would just like to say for the record;
Horie & Murakmai, you little bitches;
Your defenders say you are being persecuted and made an example of by the old boys club at Japan Inc.
Well, that may be the case but you both deserve it! You two were just raping what your fathers and mothers built.
I know every generation in every country says this about the one that follows, but in a country that had to completely rebuild itself only 60 years ago - it stands particularly true.
There are many others like you, but you two were the fattest, meanest, most arrogant and annoying fish in a small billionaires pond, too busy seeing dollars signs to worry about who you hurt or who you pissed off.
I hope the young generation isn't stupid or arrogant enough to think they can follow in your path but just not make the same mistakes (even though they will). And if they do I hope the honest ones nail their asses on the mass media bulletin board for all to ridicule like you guys.
Good riddance to both of you; you fat, cheating, lying, money-grubbing, disgrace to honest business men everywhere, would give the devil a blow job for a profit-whores.
